For the ladies, in use from Ancient Greece through the Victorian period, I offer the lacrimarium..also known as a tear catcher. As a momento mori, or to send off your parting tears with your sailor or soldier beau. Anyway they were popular for almost 2000 years.

Wig Scratchers..or really head scratchers for all you wig wearing folks. A historic reproduction from originals from the mid 1600's to the late 1700's. Maple, about 10 inches long, and sturdy enough to dislodge any stubborn wildlife residing in your wig.

Jesuit Trade Rings (above)
Our reproduction trade rings are similar to 17th and 18th century examples that were made by priests from scrap brass. The heart ring can be traced to Roman originals. The octagon has the itinials I N on it for Jesus of Nazareth.

Stock Clasp (above, two pairs shown)
Handmade in the USA. Historic reproduction.
Late 18th-early 19th century clasp, copied from an original in a private collection. Made in copper, as the original was.
Clasp measures 2" tall, and measures either 1 3/4" or 2" wide, depending on which hole is used to close the clasp.

Sleeve Buttons (images above, not to scale)

Sleeve buttons were used by both men and women for shirts and chemises. The dimensions and shapes of our sleeve buttons are copied from originals in our collection. They're made with a flat face perfect for engraving, soldered shanks, and a soldered wire loop connecting them - just like the originals. They close the wrists of your chemise or shirt smoothly, and they look professional, clean, and a little fancier than Dorset buttons.
The oval buttons fit buttonholes between approximately 1/2" and 3/4" wide, and the octagonal buttons fit 3/4" - 1" buttonholes.

Bosun's Pipe Hanger (above)
A status symbol for a bosun's mate, the suspension device for the pipe. A chain for a necklace is attached to the top two rings, and a short piece of chain attached the pipe to the lower ring. From an 18th century painting. The slightly domed face is perfect for engraving! Brass, soldered rings.

Clog Fasteners (above)
Historic reproduction. Handmade in the USA.
Our clog fasteners are made of brass, reproduced from 17th and 18th century originals. Entirely handmade, they fit onto shoes made with holes in the latchets for ribbon ties. They measure 3/4" by 1 1/4 long, and are sold in pairs of two.

Bosom Bottle (above)
For M'ladies bodice we have a reproduction ca 1753 Bosom Bottle. Designed as a small funnel shape to hold a few drops of water and a small flower or two,and clip onto her bodice. Some were wrapped in green ribbon. Some were tin, brass, silver or even glass. Ours is made in brass.
About 4 inches long, and 1/4 in diameter at the top.
